ok heres a question

If i install a program and i want to remove it using add/remove, but it says i can't, so i just do a delete, is there any way to remove the program name from the add/remove window when its loaded up.

i installed team factor, and got an error while installing it and the program works ok but when i went to remove it it said i can't so i just deleted and now i have the name in the add/remove window.

i'm running a xp home on a 40gig hdd 128 meg ram and 1.0ghz amd duron processor

regards...

Run regedit and find the following directory:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Then, find your Team Factor directory in there somewhere and delete. To be safe, make a backup key before you delete. Go under Registry in the menu and select "Export Registry File..." when you have the Uninstall folder highlighted. That's it.

Good luck.

Same method like UberGrits but more cleanful ' . Use a registry cleaner such as Regclean ( used by me ) and you can delete all registry entries for that soft ( unnistall list also ) and more others !

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
