And remove the folder that corresponds to the offending application. Generally the folder holds the same name, but if you are unsure, open the folder and look for a key called “DisplayName” and that will show how it is displayed in the ADD/REMOVE list.
You can use crap cleaner for this also. Go to tools and click on the item you want to delete. Then, on the right, click delete entry. If you don't have crap cleaner, I, as well as about 3/4 of the people on here, highly recomend it.
