i ran my first ad-aware scan and found loads of stuff. should i have it delete all of the findings? thanks in advance.

yeah shouldnt be any danger in deleting them all, if your not sure post the suspect ones and we will take a look

well, some of these might be something you need.

no provlem , there is a backup file just in case.

for instance, some programs rely on adds to exist...when we remove these keys, the program might not work.

again, it's not a big deal, as you can just go to the backup file.

Mike, the first time I ran Ad-Aware I got about 50 entries all over the place so I just deleted them all.

However, the full version of Kazaa rely on (as dealer touched upon) ads to run, so if you delete some of those ads, e.g. SaveNow(?), Kazaa will not run.

Time to swap, I guess.

I would suggest you change to Spybot, Search&Destroy. It is so much easier to use. Presents "spyware" in format that is easier to understand. Shows "stuff" in context. Try it you'll like it
