Hi,

I've just started on creating an active desktop on my pc with the help of the NTFS guide. I haven't got very far at the moment, but was wondering it would be better putting icons as shortcuts rather than having 'links' to open apps.

I have no experience with writing scripts, only what I've seen from the Active Desktop guide in NTFS.

This might have been answered had it been in the right section.

Icons are easier to manage, but you can make the links fit in more. It's a personal preference and in most cases, just a matter of trial and error until you find the config you like most.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
