I am currently having a problem with XP booting up correctly. See other post re:ISASS.EXE error.

I know thing I am going to need to reinstall XP completely.

My question is how do I get access to the C:\documents and settings folder.

I am able to get to a DOS prompt, by pressing Shift-F10 in the install screen.

I was able to copy some files from my C: drive to my zip drive and would like to also copy the files in my documents folder.

if you can copy files from the c: all you would need to do is access the documents and settings folder then navigate to your user name and such and download what is in there :)

When I try to get to the C:\documents and settings folder it tells me The system cannot find the path specified.

I found a way to get to the files. I copied the WINFILE.EXE program from a NT machine and in the process of running it from my A drive.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
