about java and IE

#1
um i use to use java without downloading it from the java website and i also use to use it without having it as in icon in my task bar. after i reinstalled i tried to display java sites and it said id didn't download it. i did windows update and everything and IE 6 SP1 and ii thought it would come with java. so i just got it from that java sun web site and now when i use java it takes a while for it to load and its weird and it comes in my task bar or whatever.........how do i get it back to normal>? it didn't use to be a separate program....it was just integrated with IE..dfon't know if what im saying is making sense but o well

the icon on your taskbar is just sun's console.. u can right click and disable it, then exit.. it'll never come up again ;)

go to advanced in the IE's options.
it's better if you check one either Sun's java or the VM.

Will Microsoft Java Virtual Machine work with Phoenix or only IE? I guess I could install it myself and find out...

although before I uninstall Sun it would be helpful to know.

I haven't tried Phoenix but I think it's like Mozilla an open source so you'll need Sun's Java.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
