A7V333 Firewire Drivers

The built on firewire on this board doesnt come with drivers and XP tells me it is a Texas Instruments IEEE device. But every time i connect my zip250 to it my computer gets completely unstable...am i missing something here? Anyone know of drivers that work?

Windows was and is having some problems with firewire, just make sure all the windowsupdates are done, and that you have all the updated software

all updates done still no worky..works fine through USB but not on firewire

buts thats slow usb 1.1 right? Is this an expansion or an onboard thing? (not sure with KT333)

Yeah the USB is 1.1 but the board has built on 1.1, 2.0 and Firewire...i looked around and the oboard firewire is Texas instruments...it may be the zip drive..just not sure.

youe best bet would be to try something else. maybe it is the drive. maybe you can exchange it?
