when i put back my athlon 1400 everything works fine.
i have tried everything.
i have changed the rams , i have changed the jumpers and i don't know what else to do.
pls help me
thanks in advance!!!!!

i'v pulled out motherboards battery and put it in again and nothing!!! tha same problem again.

Do you have an Athlon XP with Palomino or T-Bred core?

T-Bred isn't working on your mainboard.

I've seen that happen if you are trying to use changed mobo CPU multiplier settings with a normal "locked" CPU. If your board has these settings, make sure thay are set to "auto" or "default".

I would then check which CPU core you are using (Palomino, T-bred) like UltraBeamer said. You can tell by the numbers on the CPU. Plug the letters that appear after the "2100" on the CPU in a search engine and there will surely be a page that will help. Maybe someone here knows of a site that has the letter codes already deciphered?

If you find out the core is Palomino and are sure the mobo supoprts it, maybe the CPU is bad I guess.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
