A few good programs...

I have AVG as my antivirus and spybot, MS antispyware, but i was wondering if there are any other good programs i should have to keep my machine up and running well.

Dump MS Antispyware and update to Windows Defender. This has replaced Antispyware going forward, and is the only product from that line that will be updated.

Other than that, probably get Ccleaner if you don't have it already, defrag regularly, stay on top of Windows Updates (I recommend using Microsoft Update to obtain Windows and Office updates) and just practice safe computing

Yea i have that cc, i put on defender, but my anti spyware is still there....and when i go to remove it its not in the "add/remove programs" or does it just stay on?

Zone Alarm, you'll know what and when is connecting to the net and secretly messing around

Could, ms antispyware be under the windows update tab or something?

im using AVG , zonealarm firewall, Xoftspy, and highjackthis for checking...
also im using mozilla-firefox 1.5.0.3 as browser...
