8mb Cache WesterD Surgery!!!

Hey... I got the circuit board from the bottom of the 120gb Western Digital Hard drive and wanted everyone's opinion if they thought i could put it on my western digital 120gb that has 2mb cache and if it would work? Thanks!!!

you could give it a try, I wouldn't think it would be a different physical drive, just the controller and cache

Hmmm...I really dont know. But what happened to the rest of the HD you got the board from? why not have two drives?
