I'm looking to buy a wireless networking hardware for my laptop

Out of Blue Tooth, 802.11a/b/g, which one is the best choice?

Is there any better mini pci wireless solutions?

Which brand is good?

um..... well, since i'm assuming 802.11b is most used right now, i voted for it... ther others i didn't really hear news about them. fer bluetooth however, i guess it's good for future investments when the technology is more available, cause it's truely good for mobile wireless technology

Blue tooth ... it's good... it's new.. it's worth it..

Bluetooth is only for short range. It's not for wireless networking, it's for peripherals.

The trade off is the higher speed can only provide a shorter transmittion range due the it uses higher frequency.

but lower frequency will provide longer transmittion range but slower speed.

mm... is anyone know is there any brand produce 802.11a/b combo mini PCI card? do they work like the 10/100 LAN?

how common is 802.11a now?
