PCI express?

I have a question about these new videocards that are comming out.
If i have a regular PCI slot,will the pci express videocards work in them? I just purchased a new computer not even a year ago, don't want to have to buy a new motherboard just because of newer videocards.
right now i am on http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard/Products/Products_GA-8IG1000 Pro.htm
and would like to keep it that way. $250 for a videocard it enough anyway. muchless the other $100 on a mobo. Might was well build another whole box.

not sure if someone answered this but no you can't put the card in a reg pci slot...

lol what would the point be.. it be like getting a badass high perfromace car and giving it olive oil for fuel...(assuming it could work.)
