3DMark2003 patch errors

I'm trying to patch my version of 3DMark03 with the 340 patch (currently I can't upload banchmarks)

but when I run it I'm told it can't find an installed version of the 3DMark03!!

yet the patch file is in the same folder as the install


Any ideas?

try reinstalling 3dmark03, then applying the patch. if it still doesnt work try d/ling the full version (unless u have dialup).

Hmm, thought I had replied to this, but maybe your quick boot (stopped services) are affecting it ?

No I rebooted with full fat service.
