3 button serial mouse

I have a 3 button logitech trackball....serial...and they have dropped all support for seial port devices.

Anyone know of a way to get the Microsoft serial mouse driver to recognize the middle button? XP defaults to using this driver, which works fine, but doesnt know about the middle button.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you migth be S.O.L =o( there is rarely anything for serial devices nowdays (heck I have both my serial ports disabled in bios) your best bet would be to see if there is such a thing as serial to ps2 converter sorry man
