Hello all
I had encountered 2 distinct problems with Dial-up Servers of Win98 & Win-XP :
In Win-98: When I connect from another Win98's modem to Win98 server sometimes the ping fails while the modems are connected well , and it occures only at a random times.
In Win-XP: The Win-Xp has not any means to set a static IP address for itself when it act as a Dial-UP server. And when you connect from a ppp client such as Win-98 to that Win-XP you don't know Win-XP's IP address, because it specifies its address randomly and not static.
How can I solve that 2 problems ?
My main Problem is that I need a good stable Dialup server with one of WIn-98 or Win-XP . How can I make one of them as stable and realiable Dial-UP Server ?
Thanks
