16bit icons look like 256 colours

I've been using 32bit desktop colour setting for a while, and decided to go back to 16bit(since virtual pool 2 doesn't run in desktop mode in 32bit). but all desktop icons looks like they're using the 256 colours. i don't know what i did to get this problem, but hopfully someone will be able to help.

Install the latest powertoys

Run TweakUI and there is an option to repair Icons

That should fix it for you
