1 minute advert b4 logging in 🙁

OK so I accept the need for some banner advertising but can anyone justify the need for a 1 minute diversion to some crummy advert before I could even log in?

it happens on the frount page, you can slick skip addvert in the top right if you want 😉

Because I was logging in for the 1st time at a new location I came in via www.ntfs.org which goes to the front page. As soon as I clicked in on log-in the screen redirected (in the same window) to an advert for "netlife" (I think) and kept me there for a minute or more. I tried clicking the "skip-ad" link but I got two dead pop-ups 🙁 Eventually I came back to the log-in dialog...
