i downloaded it, how long is it free?? it seems nice. but who knows, it will run it against my kaspersky as well. i like nod32 overall as the best because of it lightweight but full feature set but its getting harder to choose a perfect tool.

do you have any clues as to what i should check?

I didnt want to start a new thread but i have a similar problem, i am unable to access many sites that require a java vm. I even downloaded the latest one from Sun and still nothing, this pc is clean of viruses and seems to be clean of ad/spyware and trojans. I ran numerous checks. I cant get it...

Wow , you guys really seem to like PerfectDisk, it is nice and works very well much better than the more famous Diskkeeper but in my humble opinion, i prefer O&O's product Defrag 6.5. Its fast, very thorough and defragmented a drive that PerfectDisk said was fine. As for anti-virus apps...

this may be just a rookie answer but i recall hearing that this is a fairly occuring event, it happens to me all the time. i have not been able to identify the reason but i always C-A-D and kill the process and newtask explorer.exe and everything works fine. I dunno why this happens but it does...
