I cant find the file to delete it. The reappearing is spread like I said in my first post. Could it be part of a program I uninstalled or someones hack.

Its says cmsstoage a windows icon I can change the look by opening it with word note or whatever. If I could find it I could get rid of it. But like I said it comes back after I delete it. I would like to know where it came from. Why would a LST file atached to a icon show up like that.

I have no idea where or how but this icon shows up on my desktop, my documents, ontop of pictures, in c,d, and e drives. It lists as cmsstoage LST file. I delete and erase it but it comes back. I have scaned for everything I could think of. How do I get rid of it? And what is it? If you can...

I am running XP home, with a surfboard cable modem.I use a ethernet cable to connect. My problem is I bought a new pc and It has XP home also + SP1. My comfigs are the same I think, but it dosen't go anyware. Could it be a problem with a link to my cable modem to the MAC address of my NIC card...

Hello all after I installed Sp1 I lost style XP. My system was goofey so I ran a uninstall on Sp1 and lost a dill file and would't read drive G off XP cd. My system lockedup I shut it down and lost all of c drive. What a night, anyway I am geting it back together and my farorite site is back...

My advice if it's not broke don't fix it. I downloaded Sp1 express and i lost many visual settings. I could not retain them, so i did a system restore. I just used the Explorer 6 updates for now.
