Perris, forgive my noobitudity, but how does one move temporary internet files to the desktop? And do you have to do that for every browser you use? I'm currently using Windows 7057 64bit. Thanks.
Ok, just downloaded Windows 7 beta from MS and was given a serial number. I have Vista currently installed in my main machine and its pretty stable but slow. I don't want to have to back up everything, so would it make sense if I installed W7 in a new HD and leave my current Vista...
I have the same problem with 3 vista machines. All have same workgroup name, network discovery, full sharing.. but only the laptop allows sharing. 2 machines keep saying access denied, talk to your administrator. I would be interested in knowing if you have better luck than me.
Thanks all! I have decided to buy the PS3. As for my PC, you guys are absolutely right - the weakest link is my video card. I plan to replace that at some point, but since I don't play a lot of games, the vid card upgrade has been fairly low on my list of priorities. If I were to get one...
Thanks a bunch to Petros and tdinc... That's exactly what I needed to hear. I just couldn't figure out why someone would get a dedicated player for more money when the PS3 can do the same and then some. I have a 52" 1080p Samsung LCD which I have been dying to pair up with a high def player...
Can anyone tell me why I shouldn't buy a Sony PS3 to play BluRay movies, especially when the price for a standalone player is about the same or in many cases more?
At least you're getting closer to the source. That seems to be more of a problem with some motherboards than others. Try the latest non-beta nvidia drivers. Good luck!
If it's not a driver issue, it could be a corrupt windows or software installation file. If your laptop used to work properly without crashing, you might want to try using system restore to a point in time when everything was working alright. Good luck.
How up to date are your drivers? There's a number of sites where you can scan your pc drivers and see which ones need to be updated. I have used the one at

Yes, you're right. I was just suggesting that Bluzeboy can also use a DVD blank. The advantage is that you can hold up to 99 songs and play it back on the DVD burner or a regular DVD player (which I assume most people have). I have my dvd player hooked up to my stereo so I do burn some music...
BTW, you can burn regular music cd's with a DVD blank. Just allows you to put more tracks into it. The catch is, you'll have to play the music on a dvd player. Ulead's movie factory has a setting for dvd music cd's.
Hey NetRyder,
I tried that but it kept coming back empty. as it turns out, it was a tweak program that caused it to disappear. Wife's happy again :-)
thanks for the quick response - that's why I keep coming back to OSNN!
