I have Pub 2003 and Acrobat Pro 6 and the short answer is that it doesn't allow for direct .pdf saves from within Publisher, like it does in Word, etc. So you will have to export the file to some other format. I would suggest to find yourself a pdf file converter; there are free ones around...

Excel can import comma separated values files. Save or copy the text file as FILENAME.csv and then open it in excel as a text file. It should open with a column for each comma. Shouldn't need any coding unless I'm misunderstanding your question. Is this what you needed to do? kip

Yup I'm using this with OL 2003, works good no problems. One request though - in the future could you post a link and not an attachment? Not that I don't trust you (ummm I don't), but it's a heck of a lot easier for crxp to get included in a zip than in a link to the site. No offense. kip

yup you can Yes you can do it, pretty easily. The original solution is linked to in this site, which has done all the work and zipped the installation. I haven't tried it (don't have a need) but it looks like it works. 2 versions of IE in XP kip

You can password protect a compressed (zip) folder in XP. Just zip the folder (remember to delete the orig.) and from My Computer dbl click on the zip and choose File>Add A Password. Hope this helps. kip

Have you tried the "mini-player"? You need to set WMP as a taskbar toolbar (rt click on the taskbar, select toolbars, and check WMP). Then, open WMP and minimize to the taskbar, and then click the ^ on the far right side of the controls to open a little window with your video playing in it...

A couple of thoughts; you could try to stop WMI and then restart it (Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services - scroll down to WMI and stop the service, (probably reboot) and then restart. You could also run SFC /scannow from Start>Run. You will need your XP CD for this, but it will reset...
