I would start with tar -xvf your_file_name.tar which will extract the content in the current directory. From then read the INSTALL/README file since instructions depend on many things (version, permissions, system, ...)

Just to give an update, The same problem occured the day after I did the reinstallation... I still don't know why, but at least I found that I can copy and paste a file into the writing area which is painless than using the menu...

Already done that before posting... Anyway a clean uninstall/reinstall did the trick so thx for the help! By the way, on my job's laptop I'm using Gaim (we have an internal jabber server) and I'm also able to connect to my MSN account... I installed Gaim on my home computer and nothing works...

I'll give it a try... By "updated" I meant uninstall/install but I'll try a clean uninstall (registries, files left, ...)

The problem with CGI is that it is not recalled when the browser loads the page from its cache... Also, as there's no such problem with other browsers, I would just hope there a simple (html) way to do it.
