Sorry to say that the tweak didn't help. But what did was:
I used one of my other computers as the gateway (internet connection sharing PC). This PC was one that was not able to open some web pages before. Now it and all the other computers are able to open all pages so far and the buttons...
This is not an internet lag problem and is not a cookies/files thing either. Is I wrote in my original post I re-installed on one computer and it didn't help.

He is using IE. He doesn't have anything other that XP SP2 and office XP. He uses outlook too but doesn't have any problems with it.
SP2 has a pop-up blocker but it would show it in the pop-up bar. This error is shown in the status bar on the lower left.
Ok, here's the details. He can log on to hotmail and see the email program just fine. He can change folders as well but if he attempts to open any email it does nothing. In the browsers status bar it will then show "error on page".

For some reason my modem keeps hanging up and then redialing. This goes on time and time again while opening web pages, downloading software, or sending receiving email. This is quite frustrating since it is a shared internet connection with three other computers in my home.
