Weird, I had tried that under my previous Windows 7 installation and just today on my new one, but nada. Hmph. Wah.
Glad you can use it, you're welcome!
I was trying to mount ISOs the same way as you described and I was wondering if I was missing something because I get "Error in command line." when I right click on the ISO and chose Open With DTLite.exe (DAEMON Tools Lite in the Open With menu). I tried the other two exe's in the Daemon Tools...
I know, I hate to have things running that I don't absolutely need to, but anymore I just leave the Daemon Tools gadget on my desktop for quicker access. Some people don't like anything at all on their desktop, of course. I just set my four gadgets to 20% opacity. At least you figured it...
I was reinking and resetting my Epson C8x series cartridges with mixed results. In the end each of the three Epson C8x's I owned (C80, C82 - replaced the C80 under warranty, and C84 or 86 - I forget which) would just end up getting so clogged that when I bought new cartridges I'd have to use...
Hmph. You got me, but that's just as good as any as a possible cause. Why not at least just try "properly" unmounting it through the program just once and see if it behaves correctly then or if it's some deeper issue that affects it anyway. At least then we've eliminated something.

I just tried it with the latest Daemon Tools Lite v4.35.5.0068 (which is the first one that is Windows 7 compatible). I mounted an ISO, then unmounted the ISO and then successfully moved the ISO file to another folder without any problem.
Are you using this version or one of the paid versions...
At this late stage, I don't know why I'm bothering except the principle of the matter.
Just from someone saying they downloaded a movie, while I'm not naive, it is wrong to just assume that they are talking about downloading an ILLEGAL movie, and further to refuse to help someone with a...
What happens if you try to go to http://192.168.0.1 anyway?
Interestingly, Outlook (2010 Beta) marked the notification of your reply to this thread as a possible phishing message. Maybe because of my thumbnails or something; who knows.
Having only one PCI slot does make me nervous, but wouldn't kill the deal. About the only thing I can think of that I would actually *need* to use the PCI slot for is a modem, just in case I need to fax, but I don't have a home phone line anymore, anyway.
After attaching the second hard drive to the computer, you can boot a Vista installation DVD and Repair Startup options. This may find the additional Vista installation and add it to Vista's boot menu, which it normally doesn't show you unless there's a problem or you're already multi-booting...
