I already had a Nokia 3410 and was looking at getting a new one. Since this post was started i invested in a Sony Ericsson T630 for £200 sim free which i can use with my pocket pc via bluetooth for accessing the internet almost anywhere. I am very pleased with it.

I take it your talking about msn messenger? Its not a bug, just some annoying people who think its fun to invite loads of people into a convo, just to get the biggest convo ever, or so they believe. the contact you knew in the convo, was probably invited by one of his/her contacts, andsome...

turn it off where?

I forgot to enter a user + pass on my first try. Then i tried with the user and pass and it gave the error above. Then i restarted my pc and now it will let me on. Wierd :confused: Thanks very much for your help though, i'll let you know if it happens again.

ok, attempted to connect @ 15:05 to your site, i get the same error as above,

When my Pocket PC is in it's cradle (connect to the desktop pc) i can't connect to any ftp sites on the desktop pc. However when i remove it, i attempt to connect to an ftp site and it works. This is the log from wsftp pro when i attempt to connect when the pocket pc is in the cradle...
