Re: New latitude D-420/620 and 820, precision m90 I know the logistics of production, but some systems are launched with ship times a month down the road if Dell's parts aren't ready, eg chassis. Just wondering if anyone has inside info on that type of thing.

Re: New latitude D-420/620 and 820, precision m90 I wonder why they don't bite the bullet and include optical. I think the majority of users would trade a slight increase in thickness for it. I've always bought Latitudes, but I had to go with an Inspiron 700m as my current machine for that...

Re: New latitude D-420/620 and 820, precision m90 Thanks for all the info! I was about to buy a computer but I think I'll wait until this round comes out. Will the D420 have a built-in optical drive, or will it be in the D/dock or D/bay like the current D410?
