    Old SP2 Support Thread

Windows Firewall problem Whenever I restart my computer, my Windows Firewall automatically turns itself off. I go into the security options, re-enable it; and then next restart....it's off again.

    Locked-Down XP Account

You can go into folder properties and make the folder hidden. Unless the user knows how to changer your folder options to view hidden folders, they will never know it is there.

spyware .... can't get it out

I use those two as well. I also use spyware blaster, it helps block spyware from installing. I just recently (last two months) began using adaware, it has only caught one thing. In the previous year and a half that I have used both Spybot (with the immunization feature) and SpywareBlaster...

    The Mozilla/Firefox/Thunderbird discussion (Part 3)

Windows XP SP2, Build 2162 (Express Installer EN)

I haven't found any problems. I get the new windows firewall popping up now and then after I install or run a program it hasn't seen, and it says it blocked it and asks me if I would like to continue blocking it. Other than that, I haven't experienced any problems yet (other than getting it...

    The Mozilla/Firefox/Thunderbird discussion (Part 3)

Well, I'm a recent firefox convert, and am still trying things out. I have been slowly ditching some of them as I find what ones are either (a) never used or (b) useless for me. Also, many of the extensions I have should be or will be part of the browser itself in future versions. Seriously...

    The Mozilla/Firefox/Thunderbird discussion (Part 3)

Problem adding sites to unblock popups I installed the extensions listed below, and now I am unable to add a site to the unblock popup list in the options by manually typing it in. I can type it in another program, or in the browswer, copy it, and paste it, but unable to type it. Any ideas...
