Just curious if anybody knows the reason of my problem. I try to install the new painkiller patch but it goes to a dos prompt and says not enough system memory. I have 1 gig of ram and a 600 meg swap file. Any clue what is causing this?

Well i'm confused no matter what one I use it looks worse than tv.

Does anybody know what dvd software can make the dvds played on the computer look as good as on the tv?

I just used the intel chipset platfrom utility and found that my ram is not setup for dual channel. Once i swap the ram out and move it so that it runs dual channel will this really help in games?

Its the factory motherboard that came with my compaq. i figured if the windows drivers are from 2001 that it would run slower.

Heres the motherboard type Well i wanted to install the drivers so that maybe it would run as fast as possible but i might be mixed up. The motherboard is a ASUS p4sd-la.

I cant seem to find a way to make a maxtor setup disk on a floppy. I have the cd but when windows is installing and ask for a scsi driver it wants a floppy disk and i cannot using the cd that came with it. Any help would be great.

I have noticed that everytime i install xp there is a xerox folder on the hardrive that cannot be erased. Does everybody get this? Sorry for posting so many stupid questions.

I have always had hibernation on my computer till i just formatted and reinstalled xp with sp1. Any clue how to get it back?

Xpsp2 installed. so far so fine. So far everything is working perfect. I'll post when it crashes lol.

Anybody try the xpsp2 service pack out on the web? I am about to be a fool and try it tomorrow hope it dont crash my system.

I have the latest Nvidia drivers and vsync turned on and the game seems to run like vsync is off. Is there anyway to fix this?

I did try emulated I have tried emulated in winxp and tried all patches for winme and all for xp and even all the nvidia drivers for winme but no luck.
