    New Laptop suggestion!!??

I heard that Voodoo is pretty good with gaming (considering you seem to specify GPUs), although Alienware is probably the most safe choice. However, don't quote me on this as I've never used Voodoo myself.

So, how will a MacBook Pro work in a uni?

Umm... maybe back to the topic. :) X-Istence, you mention something about Vista supporting EFI in your post. Is that supposed to mean that without this Bootcamp thing, I can install Vista on MBP? Sry, a n00b with Macs--which is exactly why I want to get one, but not sure if it'll help me...

[Finished] OSNN & HP Pavillion HDX Dragon Giveaway

Re: OSNN HP Pavillion HDX Dragon Giveaway Now Happening! Ditto. The runner-up's were good. Winner's was questionable, but if AV liked it, that's that. :) Talk about short... :( I think as of speaking, Ars Technica's is the least competitive as it is quite hard to even compete for. :dead:

when should you use 64 bit....?

I've noticed that the 64-bit is catching up with the 32-bit now, in terms of how much support there is from the software companies. It certaintly is the option to go in my opinion if money isn't your problem. Speed wise, I've seen it to be noticeably better, as I do a lot of rendering...

So, how will a MacBook Pro work in a uni?

I'll be going to a university (currently as an engineering major, probably will change to biz or econ.) this fall and currently, I am pretty sure that I'll be purchasing a Vista for it. However, I've ben hearing how Macs are just as, if not more powerful for university students too. I know...

    StarCraft: Brood War Battle.net anyone?

What's your ID on Bnet? :) SkyFuser, I'm quite excited about SC2 too. ;) I was watching the thing being showcased for the first time live and oh my, it looked amazing!! However, I've been constantly hearing that SC2 is not "as fast paced" as the original. Even the PGs themselves said it...

    Biggest online file storage.

Anyone know how these companies manage to offer so much? I mean if everyone were to use it up, they'd probably be in some trouble... Or are they using the GMail trick? ;)

10 freeware alternatives to WinRAR and WinZip

Just here to say that I'm an AlZip user for about two years now and it kicks some serious @$$. :) Okay 7-Zip is quite powerful, but hey AlZip supports more although the graphical interface might lag a bit. :(

Beijing's Gigantic LED Wall Is Fully Solar Powered

Wow... That is truly amazing... O.O Solar power has its downsides, but it definitely is an area that we need to continue to invest money and research in as it is quite promising.

    Firefox or IE ?

For me, FireFox hands down. The amount of addons avaliable are just amazing. It takes the browser to a totally new level from IE, Safari, Opera, and the likes. However, IE7 showed that if Microsoft wants to be even a bit serious, they can be. I don't see the next IE being behind FF3 by far, if...
