Ya, I've heard. However, my local store is awesome. They're great to deal with. Last time I complained about my old phone (some audiovox junk) I told them I lost the charger too and they gave me a free charger and replaced the phone. Then again... I paid $30 (probably $99 retail) for that phone...
If you're paying insurance, they better give in and replace it. It came to you defective, why should you deal with that? Either call Motorola about it, or go to another Verizon store. I wouldn't deal with their bullcrap. But hey man, that's my 2 cents.
