hi, i have both windows and linux on my box ... and i download many rpms via windows and then move them to my linux partition ... what i wanted to ask was how do i assign and .ico file for all rpms ? because when i right click the properties of the rpm it won't give me the option to set...

Hi, i recently installed Adaptec ASPI drivers, when i reooted my system has become unsable, the error i get is: Windows could not start because of following file is missing or corrupt \windows\system32\config\SYSTEM i can't boot in safe mode also ... what should i do ? please help ...

hi ... i had installed IomegaWare ... it made one icon named Active Disk in my control panel ... but now i have unintalled it but still the icon appears but with out any text and when i click it nothing opens ? how can i remove this icon from control panel ?

yeah i did that and it gives this error, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL also i tried the driver verfier and this all happened.. another thread on .sys problem

i tried booting without it ... nothing changed then i reinstalled it with new drivers ... still nothing :(

yea i did ... i even tried moving it from there but then my XP wouldn't boot ... it actually runs it on statup ... i dunno where to diaable it ... no where in msconifg ...

i have this file in my system32/drivers directory named iomdisk.sys ... how do i remove it from loading it each time i boot... i removed the application which used it ... but it is still there and shows up in the drivers list ... and is causing shutdown problems ... how do i get rid of it ?

well the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is the main thing all expect that was usual stuff ...

hi did that removed the card ... then installed it again with updated drivers from the net ... still no luck ... :( i am stuck ....
