Reply Thanks for the replies folks,I have xp pro( service pack 1)on host and xp pro on client(no sp 1).As stated in my first message I have Norton IS and AV on host pc,also I have only got an internal modem(dial up),can I get a router still,any suggestions on makes/models. Cheers Mick.

Thanks Thanks for prompt reply people,my CD-R Drive is a BTC BCE48161M(48x16x48),the DVD-ROM is Pioneer,I think I will go for Pioneer again(£120 to spend)but still undecided on what drive to drop,pros and cons for both in your replies. Cheers, Mick.

In"My Computer"settings I have the following,Hard Disk Drives-Local Disk(C),New Volume(D).Devices with Removable Storage:CD Drive(E),CD Drive(F).Can I rename (E)and (F)CD Drives to DVD Drive for (E) and CD-R Drive for (F)or to anything else I choose,is this possible? Cheers Mick.
