They still don't want to get rid of it. Can you blame them? XP is probably the best os they came out with, and why try to fix something that isn't broken?

That post you responded to is a spam post. I am glad you found one that works. I haven't checked them out for a while. But from previous experience. None of the ones I tested did work.
Windows 8.1 Blue is the next addition to Windows 8. Instead of SP1, they are to releasing this to give the option to bypass the metro and go straight to desktop with the start button(Somewhat of a start button anyhow) intact.
Anyway had anyone seen it yet? They are reporting the leaked copies...

I am assuming that he is talking about deleted files. There is really no way to completely recover them. Most of the recovery programs will just build a list of what was deleted and not really recover anything.

Not that I know of ... Most of those file recovery programs you find don't work anyhow.
Did you try plugging it into another computer to see what it does? Also, I would get rid of those trojans. You might have a worm of some sort. Figure out what the trojan is, and get a removal tool for it.
Another question: Was it dropped at any time?

They increased our speed here from 16 meg down to 20 meg down; and from 2 meg up to 4 meg up. without a price increase. I hear fiber is going to be coming soon, so that it probably the reason why. It could also be because of every one leaving for the 4g network with their cell phones.
