Well it looks like my 7950 gx2 has fallen through, and I have just sold my 7600gt. So I'm looking for a new video card and was hoping for suggestions. I'd like to stay away from ATI, and am looking for the best bang for the buck. Thanks for any help!
ouch, those results are a little depressing... is it the significant increase in pipelines that causes such an increase in fps? i figured with the higher amount of ram it may compete. also from the pc power cooling website they show those power supply myths, do any of these hold true?
Thanks for all the replies. Yeah I was debating on whether or not to get it, mainly because of the substantial increase in pipelines compared to even the 7950 GX2. In the end I figured the 7950 was a great deal so I figured I would go for it. Anyone have any ideas on the PC power and cooling...

I have owned the fatality, and I currently own both the G5 and the copperhead. At the moment i'm going to have to say the G5 is better only because of the cold boot issue, and the lack of updated firmware for the past few months, the cold boot issue is still unresolved. I prefer the feel of the...
regarding your question on plama life. most of them (modern ones) are 60000 hrs until half brightness. i have an older plasma and burn in can definately be an issue. meaning you shouldn't plan on playing any video games on it, but the newer ones are less succeptible so you shouldn't have to...
