Does itanium based Winserver2003 exist?
Hi all,
I am wondering if there is such a beast? Something that only works on Intel hardware? The reason I am asking is that I have imaged a WinServer2003SBS using VMwareConvertor to be used on an AMD/Tyan based VMwareServer2 Server. The image came off an old Intel/Xeon based server. Now I can't install the drivers that it is complaining for in virtual mode. I do have the Tyan drivers cd, but the install process fails everytime. The device mangler is telling me that I need the network card and the Base System Engine drivers. Thanks Heeter |

all server versions of windows are available on IA64. beyond that I can't help.

I do know that all Server versions are made for both, but I was asking if some versions had a second version that was made only for Itanium only. Thanks again Heeter |
