This is for a Windows2003Server. I am trying to change the permissions on an Apache webfolder. It has the "read only" checked off. I keep trying to remove the check, and it keeps putting it back in. How can I change this permanently? Thanks Heeter |

Make a copy of the folder, then change the Attributes to THAT folder. If that works, simply put it in place of the hidden one, keeping the names identical.

I am assuming the permissions set is okay?
You do know that it only applies to files inside the folder? A folder cant be read only, just the files I am sure as you use permissions to control folders. There is a difference between a greyed check and a white backgrounded check too. |
