Default read only folder never changes

Hi all,

This is for a Windows2003Server. I am trying to change the permissions on an Apache webfolder. It has the "read only" checked off. I keep trying to remove the check, and it keeps putting it back in.

How can I change this permanently?

Thanks

Heeter

Make a copy of the folder, then change the Attributes to THAT folder. If that works, simply put it in place of the hidden one, keeping the names identical.

He took an AK-47 out from under his hat,
And blew Batman away with a rat-a-tat-tat.
But he ran out'a bullets and he ran away,
Because Optimus Prime came to save the day."

I am assuming the permissions set is okay?
You do know that it only applies to files inside the folder? A folder cant be read only, just the files I am sure as you use permissions to control folders. There is a difference between a greyed check and a white backgrounded check too.
