Default Permissions

I am a student and the project I am doing involves creating a network. The network consists of a firewall (Windows 2003 server)with ISA 2007 installed, an orange zone with a web server (windows 2003 server) a green zone with main and secondary server (windows 2003 server) and Xp pro machines for workstations. My problem at this time is giving users in the green zone on XP pro write permissions to the web server ftp and http. Hope this is not too confusing and has the information required.
