Default Speed up logon

First thank you for all your advices regarding group policy. It works like charm now!.

Second, does any of you know any way to speed up the process of log on by mean of group policy. We Are using windows server 2003, and it takes forever to log on.

Any advice is very much appreciated.

I need to clarify few things:

1. We have a server which runs with windows server 2003.
2. All other computers are windows XP and they are joined to the domain
3. It takes a good amount of time when logon as clients via XP.

Check in the event viewer, also try setting the DNS addresses that point to the DC (probably?) on the clients to see if that helps. I have seen this occur with name resolution issues.
