Default Group policy editor

Anyone know of a good book, or website to learn some of the GPO. Would like to learn to use some features on a Server end to control all workstations in the domain. Willing to purchase if needed.

Thanks in advance,

Heeter

I also suggest downloading the Group Policy Management Console from Microsoft.

Great, Thanks,

Okay, how about a great book on the active directory?

Would you a link to the GPMC download?

Thanks in advance,

(Working Matt to the bone here)

I prefer books from Microsoft Press and have a few myself (they are great references).

How much did the two books cost you? Let me know if they come in handy for you.

They cost $75CDN for both shipped. (about $70US)

They look very well broken down by section. But they are written in such a way that you need to know a very good knowledge of each category.

Will be deploying a fresh network install next weekend, using a Dell Poweredge Win2003 Small Business Server, and 12 new Dell workstations at a small office setup.

Will let you know how it goes.

Thanks for everything,

Heeter

For what it's worth, I have had both of those books for awhile now and I agree they are great resources.

Good luck on the new install Heeter
