I have an Exchange 2003 server with a corrupted store. Unfortunately, that store is the first store that was created on the server and contains the System Attendant mailbox. I have moved all the users out of the store and into another one, but I would now like to delete this store and re-create it from scratch. I know you should NOT delete the SA mailbox, but you can delete the store, can't you? I'm terrified of doing this since the SA is in the store, but from what I understand, if I delete the store that holds the SA, then Exchange will re-create the SA in a new store on that server. Has anyone done this before? If so, what happend to the server? Were there any sideffects? Did you lose any free-busy data or any other mail data? Thanks!!! |
