Do any of you server/Group Policy experts know if there is a way to remove these links ("Shop for music online" and "Order prints online")? I've searched throughout the GP and I can't find anything (nice to know that IE7 is now included with the latest set of GP). Thank you. |

Sorry if this is a lame question, but where does one find Shop for Music Online and Order Prints online? If I knew where it was, perhaps I could help remove it

I know it may be a round-about way of doing it, but can you block those sites that WMP links to on the firewall?

Windows Explorer, File or Folder Tasks
Go to your Music folder. Go to your Pictures folder and highlight an image of some sort (JPG, GIF, etc.) Also in WMP for media files. |

Do you want to remove it or just make it so that it opens the default browser instead of launching IE?

Remove it using GPO. I am in a domain environment, a very restricted environment. We don't want the option there for the users.

Microsoft reserved that link for a future music download store. So I think any removal will be a 'hack'
Searching for it.... |
