Default Server 2003 Exchange 2003 connection prob for clients!!

I have recently had to replace a number of network client pc's on a network served by windows 2003 with exchange 2003. Any attempt in restoring the clients outlook 2003 account has been met with 'unable to establish connection with exchange' and 'name cannot be resolved'. RPC service are started on clients.
It's almost as if the End Point Mapper has sucssesfully allocated exchange a port to listen on, but refuses to let the client know what it is! I did consider attempting to statically allocate ports for exchange and clients but I'm sure there must be an easy resolve that I'm missing by a mile.

Would appreciate any help before i try fixing this issue with an axe!!

Kind regards

Troy.

Try running this utility on the client workstation.

Profile Cleanup Utility from Microsoft.
More information can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/do...3/default.mspx
