Can I get an ftp client to tell me how much storage space is left on an FTP server? I presently can remote desktop into the FTP server and check the drive listed, but I would like my ftp clients to be able to tell how much room is left themselves, without asking me. I presently use Filezilla FTP Server on a XPPro machine as an FTP server, and use Filezilla FTP clients at all linux/windows workstations. Thanks Heeter |

I don't think so, At least I never seen one that does. Of course I could be wrong.

not generally - scriptable ftp servers could run a script to provide the data though

Think maybe I can run a bat file as a scheduled task, and drop a txt file with the information in it?
Thanks Heeter |
