I am connecting to a RRAS VPN server setup on a windows 2003 server machine. When I transfer a large file from a server on the VPN (10.0.0.35), communication eventually stops with the 10.0.0.35 machine before the file transfer can complete. When this happens, communication resumes in exactly 10 minutes from when it was dropped. The connection to the VPN server is not dropped completely however. I can still communicate with the other machines on the VPN server. I have tried connecting from Windows XP and Windows Vista with both Wired and Wireless NICs and the problem persists. I believe the problem is either with my router, my DSL conenction or the setup of the VPN server. Does anyone have ideas? Thanks |
