Cool Win 2K - XP Conversion

I recently received a new laptop with Windows 2000 Pro installed on it. What is the easiest (and best) way to convert it to XP?

Seeing that it is new, therefore nothing important is on it, i would do a clean install. Clean installs will save you a lot of headaches in the long run. Fdisk and format the HDD first, and then install the OS on the newely formatted disk. This will significantly reduce driver/hardware conflicts, and the OS will run faster and more stable.
