Compaq nx6325

My daughter has a compaq nx6325 laptop, when powered on it seems to power up just fine but there's nothing but a blank screen. Any ideas when could be the problem? She has tons of school work and music she needs saved but I can't do that if I can't see it

try attaching an external monitor to it and see if you get any life - could just be a screen issue (loose wire, dead backlight, etc).

I just fixed one with the same symptoms, found out it had been bumped

Have her remove the memory and then reseat/reinstall it hopefully that’s all it is.

If she hasn't been into a laptop before just remind her to be careful !!!
