Have you tried the disk management that is built into Vista?
1. Click on the Start Button and right click on Computer and select Manage. 2. Expand the Storage section and select Disk Management. 3. Right click on any partition and select either Expand or Shrink to change the size of the partition. |

built in disk management will only shrink the partition that vista was installed onto. I don't believe it will allow you to expand main partition.

There is an "Extend" option, but I have not used it.

yes.. there is an option.. but I believe it will only work on partitions that don't contain the vista installation.. ie: you have a second partition and you still have extra space left and you want to extend the second partition to use the remaining free space..
I might be wrong, but I think that was a limitation of extending partitions.. in that you can't extend the system partition. |

Yes i agree LordOfLA,
Use Acronis Disk Director's, but use the Boot Disc and boot from the disc. no problemo |
