If the network icon is by the clock then just click or right-click on it. The other way is through control panel.

go to where you set the computer name...
(right click My Computer and select properties) go to "Computer Name" and change the WORKGROUP to a common name. If your computer is on the same router and have the similar IP addresses ... 192.169.1.XXX if they all have that, and different "XXX"s find: MY NETWORK PLACES... and "Set up a home or small office network" |
