Thanks for that Kaspersky which is actually shown as being compatible on the MS site was blocked by Vista along with all the other supposedly compatible virus programmes. I’m beginning to wonder what’s going on here.

It is not listed as being compatible.
Review the link NR posted. http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...istarc1av.mspx And remember, those listed are compatible with RC1. |

I'm running the RTM build without an AV at the moment, but I've seen multiple reports of at least NOD32 2.7 and OneCare 1.5 running successfully on it. |

PC-cillin has a beta for Vista. I've been running it for about a month with no issues.

AVG 7.5 and avast 4.0 right now though for a paid version, NOD32 is the best though I've used AVG free for 4 years without a problem. Using AVG ATM on Vista RTM.

No problems with NOD32 2.7 here, What I'd really like to find is a decent Firewall program. I'm not really liking the built in with the changes that they made to the outgoing monitoring.

AVG works fine, although the x64 version needs the pro. I believe it is now also listed on the MS pages if you lack one and go browse MS for suitable products. |

This is what I installed last night and I don't like it. I can't schedule a time for it to scan.

OneCare didn't show up on Virus Bulletin as getting 100%.
http://www.virusbtn.com/index Avast, AVG, CA Home, CA eTrust, Kasperky, and Symantic all scored 100. |
