Default Free DHCP server?

Hi Yall,

Does anyone have access to a good free DHCP server? I need one for a lap that we are doing here at work and would rather not install Windows Server just for DHCP.

Thanks!

Smoothwall does both.

Lots of good documentation on their site, and it's open source. It can't run within Windows though, unless you do a VM which I'm sure is possible.

well, if you must use windows..

http://www.magikinfo.com/dhcp.htm
http://www.weird-solutions.com/weird...urbo/index.php
http://www.pscs.co.uk/products/vdhcp/index.php

some work better than others.. some are free, some have limited free editions, some have trials, and most are fairly cheap <$100.
